We met with Jen in September 2014.  I needed to lose 100 pounds.  My wife wanted to tone up a bit.  Our first meeting with Jen was a pleasant exchange of what we needed and what she could do for us.  At the end, I asked her to “whip us into shape”.  She promptly responded with “Be careful what you ask for”.  

Six months later, I am half way to my goal of losing 100 pounds.  My wife is where she wants to be.

Jen is responsible for teaching us how to change our lives.  We are responsible for listening to her and acting on most of her suggestions.

We have transformed our lives from eating convenient foods, and often junk foods, to eating lots of great food.  We don’t consider what we are doing as a diet.  We eat lots of food each day.  Simply put, we eat plenty of the right foods now.  Jen is an expert nutritionist and helped us each step of the way.  She knew what our bad habits were based on our initial interviews.  She coached us through the transition.  She suggested alternative foods to satisfy our needs.  She shared recipes with us that are absolutely fantastic. We now eat more fresh, green, wholesome foods than ever before.  Our protein intake is increased, and we enjoy eating plenty of fish, chicken, and venison.  

Jen is also an extremely talented trainer.  We have worked out with her a handful of times learning proper technique.  We work out at home in between seeing Jen.  We are always more tired after working out with her.  We guess that’s her way of "whipping us into shape".  

So after a quick 6 months,  I am half way to my weight loss goal, but will continue this way of life forever.  My wife is at her goal weight, but is also dedicated to this new way of life.  Thanks Jen for changing our lives.   Before starting with Jen I was on blood pressure meds, sugar meds, & cholesterol meds.  In six short months, I am proud to say I no longer take any of these meds.  My numbers have not been this good in a long time.  

Jen’s style pushes us without being pushy, is sincere, and is extremely motivational. 

We have recommended Jen to others and have complete confidence doing so.

We are generally pretty private people.  We don’t tend to write testimonials.  We respect and appreciate Jen so much that we felt compelled to do so.  With social media today we see more testimonials and opinions than ever before.  Testimonials should be reserved for life changing events.   Jen has changed ours forever.

I am officially under my pre-pregnancy weight today!! This is amazing, I would never have imagined the results I am seeing from eating green, eliminating processed foods, reducing dairy and most grains from my diet, it’s amazing! I have lots of energy, my clothes fit fantastically (and it’s fun to try on dresses again). Even bathing suit season makes me happy now!

I wish everyone could see that making these changes really does make you feel better physically, mentally and completely boosts your confidence.  My attitude has improved around others and I am excited to try new things, go places and get moving!

Jen Maggiore’s nutrition presentation had an immediate and profound impact on our employees. The very next day after her seminar, employees were discussing healthy greens and how to cook them. They also tried out new recipes and shared them in the kitchen. People started to incorporate new foods into their diets and ask each other where to buy specific ingredients. One employee went out to Trader Joe’s that very same night to purchase some recommended foods. Our company has a fairly healthy culture (fresh fruit available 24/7, discount gym memberships and a robust wellness program). Having Jen come onsite gave the employees an opportunity to focus on what foods they put into their bodies. I can attest to the fact that many people became more aware of what they were eating.

 The difference with Jen’s approach to nutrition is she explains nutrition in a very simple way and her philosophy on eating makes healthy changes easy to keep up with. She has an 80/20 rule and is well aware that cutting any particular food out of your diet will result in failure. She is a realist. While describing her own struggles with weight loss and healthy eating our staff could relate to her story.

By simply inviting Jen Maggiore to come onsite to our office, we changed the way our staff looked at nutrition and their eating habits. We cannot wait for Jen to come back!

I started my journey with Jen Maggiore in November of 2012 with personal training.  What I discovered with her encouragement was that I was stronger than I thought.   I was soon lifting weights and running on a treadmill at 9 miles per hour!   Her continued interest in my physical strength forced me to look at my nutrition as another way to improve my health and fitness.  I signed on with Jen for a 6 month nutritional program and haven’t looked back!   Through our nutrition sessions every 2 weeks I learned how to feed my body for optimum digestion and energy, two areas I struggled with throughout my adult life.   Today I am the healthiest I have ever been and continue to use the nutritional information from our sessions and Jen’s website to keep me on track.   Recently I went clothes shopping and had the pleasure of buying a size 8!   Thank you Jen for your coaching, encouragement and friendship!

I have gained a great experience and useful information with my conversations with Jen --for me, mostly a heightened "food awareness". After struggling with digestive issues for years, Jen brought to light in a systematic approach, how to identify foods that may be triggers and how to manage such issues and different approaches on how to monitor such issues. I have become smarter in making different choices, reading labels, and exploring new, healthier and yummy foods. I feel I have the tools going forward to decide whether food is going to control me or If I am going to be in control! Thanks Jen!

I am full of energy, my cravings are gone, I have lost 17 pounds in three months and I can wear clothes I haven’t fit into for many years. People are noticing! I have never been on any program where I have had to eat so much food and still shed the pounds like crazy! Jen has been very supportive and a great motivator to me.
